Paris Plages 2025: A Brazilian Spirit on the Banks of the Seine

Paris Plages 2025: A Brazilian Spirit on the Banks of the Seine

Until August 31, Paris Plages transforms the capital into a true beach resort. In 2025, the event takes on a tropical party vibe with a special edition inspired by Brazil. Sponsored by football legend Raí, this season blends swimming, culture, and a vibrant Carioca atmosphere.

From the Hôtel Alizé Grenelle, just steps from the Bras de Grenelle – one of the new swimming spots – you can fully enjoy this unmissable summer event.

A Dive into Brazilian Beach Culture

This year, Paris Plages is part of a cultural season shared with Brazil, curated by Emilio Kalil. A large sandy beach will be set up along the Seine, with three sports courts installed on a forecourt transformed into an urban jungle. Batucadas, DJ sets, Brazilian film screenings, exhibitions by João Farkas and Luiz Braga…

The Parisian riverbanks will pulse to the rhythm of Brazil. Food lovers will also enjoy a 100% Brazilian culinary experience, from finger foods to Brazilian food markets.

Relaxation and Swimming in the Heart of Paris

The big news this year: swimming in the Seine is back after a century-long ban. Three natural areas, including the Bras de Grenelle in the 15th arrondissement, will be open to the public daily and free of charge.

Misting stations, deckchairs, giant games, foosball tables, and water activities will enhance the experience. Other sites like the Bassin de la Villette and Canal Saint-Martin will also offer a rich summer program of activities.

Ideally located for enjoying Paris Plages 2025, Hôtel Alizé Grenelle invites you to experience a festive, exotic, and refreshing summer in the heart of the capital.

Beaches, culture, swimming: everything is set for an unforgettable summer escape.
